Rolleicord

This is a Rolleicord V. The consumer cameras of the 20's, 30's, 40's, and 50's usually had a single model outfitted for low, medium and high levels of photographic ability. The low-end camera would have budget level lens, shutter, and features. The cameras would be priced upwards according to the better components. My model had the non-remmerberable lens(it wasn't the Schneider Xenar F3.8/75mm)  and performed very well.
On Rolleicord sereis from the first model to R'cord V, the focusing knob had been put on the right-hand side of the camera body, but it was shifted to the left-hand side from R'cord Va.

First introduced in 1953.
